EDITORIAL & PRINT TEMPLATE

Correction box

A newspaper correction box ringed in the brand's marker: it has been widely said that … in fact, … and we regret the error — a myth or bad advice corrected with deadpan editorial humility.

When the AI picks it

MarketiQ’s Creative Director favours the Correction box for posts that teach, entertain or prove a point, when the message is a contrast (this, not that) or one sharp insight. It is built first to teach.

It reads each post’s goal and shape first, then its own words, the platform and the facts you have, and offers this template only where it fits.

Who it’s for

Any business. Nothing in it assumes what you sell, so the Director can offer it to a software company, a café or a coaching centre alike — whenever the post fits.

What it needs

Only your post. It is made from your copy and your brand kit — there is nothing else to prepare.

Rules the AI follows

Word for word from the template library. The Director follows the copy rules when it writes into the template, and the visual review checks every creative against the visual rules.

Copy rules

  1. Correct a belief the audience really holds — never put words in a named person's or competitor's mouth.
  2. 'In fact' states the truth plainly with the post's own facts; the sign-off can wink.

Visual rules

  1. A newsprint page: a serif section head over a heavy rule, grey text lines standing for the rest of the page.
  2. A ruled correction box with a bold CORRECTION tag over serif text — the claim, then 'In fact,' and the truth in bold, then an italic sign-off — circled by a hand-drawn brand-colour marker ring.
  3. Logo and website in the folio along the bottom.
