What is an agentic GTM platform?
A plain definition of the category, how it works, and a buyer's scorecard you can use with any vendor, including us.
The definition
An agentic GTM platform is software in which AI agents plan and carry out go-to-market work, from market research and strategy to content, publishing, ads and measurement, toward goals you set and inside approvals and guardrails you control.
What that means in practice
Most AI marketing tools are assistive: you write a prompt, they return a draft, and a person carries the work to the next tool. Marketing automation is the opposite: fixed rules fire on triggers but cannot decide what to do next. An agentic GTM platform sits between the two. Its agents read evidence, choose the next step, use tools such as research crawlers, schedulers and analytics connectors, hand work to each other on shared context, and act, but only within the permissions and approvals a person has set.
Go-to-market work is a chain, not a single task. Research shapes positioning, positioning shapes the calendar, the calendar shapes what gets written and designed, review decides what may ship, publishing creates results, and measured results should change the next plan. An agentic platform covers that chain end to end, so context is not lost between tools and what was learned reaches the next cycle.
Because agents can publish, send email and spend budget, governance is part of the definition rather than an extra. Expect approvals before external actions, autonomy that can be raised or lowered per agent, a record of who did what, brand and claim checks before content ships, and a way to stop everything at once.
An agentic platform does not guarantee outcomes. Search engines, ad networks, social platforms and mailbox providers still decide rankings, delivery and approvals, so a trustworthy platform reports what those providers return and labels modelled numbers as modelled.
How MarketiQ AI runs the loop
The AI CMO, Sol, coordinates 49 agents through eight steps and checks each agent's autonomy and pause state before it runs.
- Step 01
Research
Atlas · Market ResearchAtlas crawls permitted pages on your site and the open web, mines audience questions and benchmarks the competitors you configure, keeping citations and confidence so the plan starts from evidence.
- Step 02
Strategy
Mira · GTM StrategyMira turns that evidence into positioning, ICP and segments, a funnel and lead-magnet ideas, with a rationale for each choice, as a draft strategy for your review.
- Step 03
Calendar
Juno · Calendar PlanningJuno plans a date-aware content calendar from the adopted strategy, your cadence and seasonality, for the channels you have connected.
- Step 04
Creation
Nova · Content & Blogs, Remy · Graphics & Creatives, Vida · Video, Dot · Decks & ReportsNova writes posts, threads, blogs and articles in your voice, while Remy, Vida and Dot produce creatives, video and decks in your brand colours, all grounded in Brand Brain.
- Step 05
Brand and accuracy review
Vera · Content Auditor (independent), Rex · Brand GuardrailsVera, an independent content auditor, judges each finished post against your brand's facts and its brief, and agent-written posts need her pass, or a person's override, before they are scheduled or published automatically. Rex applies brand guardrails, and restricted claims or unverified media rights send a draft to a person.
- Step 06
Approval
You, or a standing authorization you grantYou approve, edit or reject drafts in the approvals queue. In Autopilot, an owner or admin can give the Creative War Room a standing authorization for chosen channels, so drafts that pass every check are scheduled without a per-post click.
- Step 07
Publishing
Piper · Publishing, Pulse · Social PublishingPiper and Pulse schedule and publish through verified provider connections, record each provider's receipt, and flag uncertain outcomes for reconciliation instead of retrying blindly.
- Step 08
Learning
Echo · Predictive & ForecastsEcho reads results from connected sources, keeps modelled and measured numbers apart, and feeds verified outcomes back into the next research and plan, so each measured cycle can sharpen the next.
A buyer's scorecard for agentic GTM platforms
8 principles to check with any vendor. The first 6 are what an agentic platform should offer; the last 2 are where MarketiQ AI goes further: one closed go-to-market loop, and autonomy that is earned and governed.
| Principle | What to look for | How MarketiQ AI does it |
|---|---|---|
| 1. It works where your data already lives | Connections to the CRM, analytics, commerce and data warehouse you already run, without copying everything into a new silo or replacing your system of record. | MarketiQ connects through official APIs to CRMs such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and Pipedrive, to Shopify, WooCommerce, Google Analytics and Search Console, and to BigQuery or Snowflake through read-only connectors that never persist raw source payloads. Your CRM stays the system of record. |
| 2. It knows your brand, not just your prompt | Persistent brand memory (voice, visual identity, offers, audience and proof) applied to every output, with checks that catch off-brand or unsupported claims before anything ships. | Brand Brain grounds drafts in your approved assets, voice, colours, logo, offer and audience, and each workspace keeps its own private semantic memory. Rex applies brand guardrails, and Vera, an independent content auditor, checks every finished post against your brand's facts before agent-written work can go out automatically. |
| 3. It is not locked to one AI model | A platform that routes each task to a suitable model and can change models without rebuilding your workflows. | Models are not hard-coded. A model registry assigns the model per agent or workspace, plans unlock standard, advanced-reasoning or premium engines, and Enterprise adds custom AI routing and model tiers. Models are managed for you, so no API keys are needed. |
| 4. It is modular | You can start with one workflow, run alongside your current tools and expand, instead of a rip-and-replace migration. | MarketiQ spans 30+ connected modules you can adopt one at a time. It starts in observation and draft mode beside your current tools, needs no site migration or DNS change, and supported CSV imports offer a dry-run, validation and limited rollback. |
| 5. Agents cover the whole chain | Agents for research, strategy, planning, creation, review, publishing, paid media, email, SEO and measurement that share one context, rather than a writing assistant bolted onto other tools. | An AI CMO coordinates 49 agents across research, strategy, the calendar, content, design, video, publishing, ads, email, SEO and AI visibility, ABM, lead scoring and attribution, all reading and writing the same workspace context. |
| 6. Governance is built in | Approvals before external actions, roles, an audit trail, brand and claim checks, and a way to stop everything. | Publishing, sending and spending are approval-gated. Roles (owner, admin, manager, editor and viewer) limit who can do what, governed actions are logged with the person or agent responsible, admin actions go to a hash-chained audit log, and workspace and budget kill switches stop agents and spend. |
| 7. It closes the GTM loopMarketiQ goes further | Measured results that flow back into the next plan, with modelled and measured numbers kept clearly apart. | MarketiQ runs research, strategy, the calendar, creation, review, approval, publishing and learning as one loop. Where outcome data is connected, verified results inform later recommendations; modelled numbers are labelled as modelled, and missing data is shown as a gap rather than invented. |
| 8. Autonomy is earned and adjustableMarketiQ goes further | Autonomy you can raise or lower per agent, limited to what each agent has proven, with scoped, revocable authorizations and a safe default when something fails. | Workspaces run in Manual, Copilot or Autopilot mode and each agent at suggest, approve or auto. Agents only get the autonomy they have earned from evidence, a failed policy check falls back to approval, standing authorizations are scoped to channels and can expire or be revoked, and a content autopilot hold can stop autonomous content. |
