Markdown price tag

A price drop told by the shop's own tag: a hanging swing tag with the product name and its old price struck through in marker, a round 'NOW' sticker slapped over the corner with the new price, and a handwritten 'you save' note — the markdown everyone recognises from the rack.

When the AI picks it

MarketiQ’s Creative Director favours the Markdown price tag for posts that get people to act, announce news or teach, when the message is an offer or deal, one product in the spotlight or a contrast (this, not that). It is built first to get people to act.

It reads each post’s goal and shape first, then its own words, the platform and the facts you have, and offers this template only where it fits.

Who it’s for

Any business. Nothing in it assumes what you sell, so the Director can offer it to a software company, a café or a coaching centre alike — whenever the post fits.

What it needs

The Director offers it only when these exist. Without them it simply picks another template.

Rules the AI follows

Word for word from the template library. The Director follows the copy rules when it writes into the template, and the visual review checks every creative against the visual rules.

Copy rules

  1. The old and new prices are the post's own; the new price is lower — never invent a 'was' price.
  2. The saving note only states a saving the two prices really give.
  3. Never name a marketplace, payment or delivery app.

Visual rules

  1. A cream swing tag with chamfered top corners hangs from a string, slightly turned; the logo, the product name and the old price sit on it, the old price struck by a marker stroke.
  2. A round brand-colour sticker with a dashed inner ring overlaps the tag's lower corner and carries 'NOW' and the new price; a handwritten note with an arrow points at it.
  3. A pale brand ground, the kicker top-left, and the end date and button along the bottom.
