NARRATIVE DECKS TEMPLATE

Roller-coaster ride

A story with its 'ups and downs', ridden as a 'roller-coaster': one track of hills and a loop on its lattice runs across the top of every page, the car a hill further each time and the track it has ridden lit in the brand colour, with the hill's story below; the cover waits at the station with every hill listed and the close rolls back in at the end of the ride. For a first year, a launch or a turnaround told in order, highs and lows alike.

When the AI picks it

MarketiQ’s Creative Director favours the Roller-coaster ride for posts that start a conversation, prove a point or announce news, when the message is a story or a timeline. It is built first to start a conversation.

It reads each post’s goal and shape first, then its own words, the platform and the facts you have, and offers this template only where it fits.

Who it’s for

Any business. Nothing in it assumes what you sell, so the Director can offer it to a software company, a café or a coaching centre alike — whenever the post fits.

What it needs

Only your post. It is made from your copy and your brand kit — there is nothing else to prepare.

Rules the AI follows

Word for word from the template library. The Director follows the copy rules when it writes into the template, and the visual review checks every creative against the visual rules.

Copy rules

  1. Only for a story of ups and downs told in order — a first year, a launch, a turnaround, a season; not for a steady success story, a list of tips or a process.
  2. Each hill is a moment the copy names, in its order; when it happened comes from the copy exactly — never an invented date, number or result.
  3. The closing line is where the ride ends: what the reader can do now.

Visual rules

  1. A full-width band under the header holds the whole ride: a track of hills and one loop on a lattice of supports between two station platforms, a numbered marker under each hill top, the track ridden so far lit in the brand colour and the car on the current hill.
  2. Under the band, 'Hill n of N' in condensed capitals with the copy's time on a pill when it gives one, then the heading and the text, and the next hill's heading at the foot of the page.
  3. The cover parks the car at the station with the title and the numbered hills; the closing page brings it back in with 'End of the ride' and the call to action.
