OPENINGS & REVEALS TEMPLATE

Specimen card

One new feature catalogued like a species in a naturalist's field guide: a framed plate with the feature drawn large as an engraving on a hatched oval and a figure number in the corner, the common name in a serif with a playful mock-Latin name in italic, ruled entries — habitat, how to spot it, what it replaces — and a handwritten field note. A feature spotlight people stop to read.

When the AI picks it

MarketiQ’s Creative Director favours the Specimen card for posts that teach, announce news or entertain, when the message is one sharp insight, a list or one product in the spotlight. It is built first to teach.

It reads each post’s goal and shape first, then its own words, the platform and the facts you have, and offers this template only where it fits.

Who it’s for

Any business. Nothing in it assumes what you sell, so the Director can offer it to a software company, a café or a coaching centre alike — whenever the post fits.

What it needs

Only your post. It is made from your copy and your brand kit — there is nothing else to prepare.

Rules the AI follows

Word for word from the template library. The Director follows the copy rules when it writes into the template, and the visual review checks every creative against the visual rules.

Copy rules

  1. Every entry describes the real feature from the post — where it is, how you notice it, what it replaces; no invented numbers or customers.
  2. The mock-Latin name is a light joke on the feature's name and adds no facts; leave it out for serious brands.

Visual rules

  1. A field-guide page: a double rule under the guide title, a framed plate with a pale hatched oval and the feature icon drawn large in fine ink lines with a soft offset print shadow, an italic 'Fig.' caption.
  2. Serif common name, italic brand-colour mock-Latin, mono-cap entry labels with ruled values, a handwritten field note in the brand colour; button and website at the foot.
