This-or-that bracket
A knockout bracket: four or eight contenders from the brand's world in lettered cards on both flanks, bracket lines converging round by round on an empty trophy with a question mark. A tournament invites strong opinions — people defend their champion in the comments and argue the early rounds.

When the AI picks it
MarketiQ’s Creative Director favours the This-or-that bracket for posts that start a conversation or entertain, when the message is a question, a side-by-side comparison or a list. It is built first to start a conversation.
It reads each post’s goal and shape first, then its own words, the platform and the facts you have, and offers this template only where it fits.
Who it’s for
Any business. Nothing in it assumes what you sell, so the Director can offer it to a software company, a café or a coaching centre alike — whenever the post fits.

What it needs
Only your post. It is made from your copy and your brand kit — there is nothing else to prepare.
Rules the AI follows
Word for word from the template library. The Director follows the copy rules when it writes into the template, and the visual review checks every creative against the visual rules.
Copy rules
- Contenders are short (two or three words), distinct and equally loveable — no joke entry, no obvious winner.
- Use 4 or 8 contenders (with 5–7 only the first 4 play); no invented names, brands or numbers.
Visual rules
- A dotted bracket sheet: lettered white contender cards with hard ink shadows on both flanks (top and bottom rows on 9:16), ink bracket lines with brand-colour nodes converging on an original trophy with a big question mark and the label on its plinth.
- Ink kicker tag with a trophy icon and the contest title above; brand reply pill and logo/website below.
