TV & BROADCAST TEMPLATE

Previously on…

A TV 'previously on…' recap: the series name in an italic title, two or three dark film frames each subtitled with a story beat so far, then this week's new development lit in the brand colour — the next chapter of an ongoing story.

When the AI picks it

MarketiQ’s Creative Director favours the Previously on… for posts that start a conversation or announce news, when the message is a story or a timeline. It is built first to start a conversation.

It reads each post’s goal and shape first, then its own words, the platform and the facts you have, and offers this template only where it fits.

Who it’s for

Any business. Nothing in it assumes what you sell, so the Director can offer it to a software company, a café or a coaching centre alike — whenever the post fits.

What it needs

Only your post. It is made from your copy and your brand kit — there is nothing else to prepare.

Rules the AI follows

Word for word from the template library. The Director follows the copy rules when it writes into the template, and the visual review checks every creative against the visual rules.

Copy rules

  1. The beats are real earlier steps in the story, in order; the 'this week' line is the news.
  2. Write beats like subtitles — short, past tense, specific.

Visual rules

  1. Near-black frame: PREVIOUSLY ON in spaced mono caps over the series name in a large italic serif.
  2. Two or three dark, desaturated film frames with soft brand-hued light, each carrying a white subtitle; below (right on 16:9) a deep brand panel ringed in brand colour with a THIS WEEK tag and the new beat in big type.
  3. Logo and website along the bottom.
