SWATCHES & FINDERS TEMPLATE

Shade finder

A 'shade finder' grid: undertones across the top as pills, depths down the side in italic serif, and every shade's name in its cell — all cells the same size and weight, no colour guessed. Helps everyone find their match without a single shade ranked above another.

When the AI picks it

MarketiQ’s Creative Director favours the Shade finder for posts that teach, get people to act or start a conversation, when the message is several products or a menu, a side-by-side comparison or one product in the spotlight. It is built first to teach.

It reads each post’s goal and shape first, then its own words, the platform and the facts you have, and offers this template only where it fits.

Who it’s for

Made for Beauty & personal care. The Director offers it only to brands of that kind, so it never turns up for a business it does not suit.

What it needs

The Director offers it only when these exist. Without them it simply picks another template.

Rules the AI follows

Word for word from the template library. The Director follows the copy rules when it writes into the template, and the visual review checks every creative against the visual rules.

Copy rules

  1. Shade names, depths and undertones are exactly the post's — never assign a shade the post does not place.
  2. Every shade is equal: list depths in the post's order, never call a lighter or darker shade better, 'fair', 'brightening' or 'flattering'.

Visual rules

  1. A barely-tinted paper ground; a spaced-caps label and a serif headline over a grid: undertone pills across the top, depth names in italic serif down the left.
  2. Every cell is the same size and colour (a white card) holding its shade names in a large serif under a small mono number. No skin-colour swatches are drawn.
  3. Logo and website on a hairline footer (a deep band on stories).
