INFOGRAPHICS TEMPLATE

Timeline

A clean milestone timeline — a horizontal axis with dot markers on square and landscape canvases, a centred spine with dates and cards alternating sides on portrait — with one milestone lifted in brand colour, so a history or a plan reads in order at a glance.

When the AI picks it

MarketiQ’s Creative Director favours the Timeline for posts that teach, announce news or prove a point, when the message is a timeline, a story or steps or a process. It is built first to teach.

It reads each post’s goal and shape first, then its own words, the platform and the facts you have, and offers this template only where it fits.

Who it’s for

Any business. Nothing in it assumes what you sell, so the Director can offer it to a software company, a café or a coaching centre alike — whenever the post fits.

What it needs

Only your post. It is made from your copy and your brand kit — there is nothing else to prepare.

Rules the AI follows

Word for word from the template library. The Director follows the copy rules when it writes into the template, and the visual review checks every creative against the visual rules.

Copy rules

  1. Dates and periods are copied exactly from the source and listed in time order — never invented.
  2. Titles are short noun or verb phrases; details are one plain line each.
  3. Highlight the milestone the post is about (the launch, the show, today); otherwise the last one is lifted.

Visual rules

  1. Axis and spine are 0.3rem ink rules ending in a drawn arrowhead; markers are brand dots on a paper ring.
  2. The highlighted milestone gets a large brand disc with a star icon, a soft halo and a brand-coloured date.
  3. Horizontal on square/landscape (cards alternate above and below when there are five or more), vertical on portrait.
