Tree-ring timeline
A product's first year drawn as the cross-section of a trunk: bark in the deep brand colour, pale wood, fine 'growth rings' and one heavier ring per milestone, each marked with a numbered pin — and the numbered list of what happened, ring by ring, from the core outward. Growth people can see, told as a story of shipping.

When the AI picks it
MarketiQ’s Creative Director favours the Tree-ring timeline for posts that announce news, prove a point or start a conversation, when the message is a timeline, a story or a list. It is built first to announce news.
It reads each post’s goal and shape first, then its own words, the platform and the facts you have, and offers this template only where it fits.
Who it’s for
Any business. Nothing in it assumes what you sell, so the Director can offer it to a software company, a café or a coaching centre alike — whenever the post fits.

What it needs
The Director offers it only when these exist. Without them it simply picks another template.
- A real number from your post or your brand facts
Rules the AI follows
Word for word from the template library. The Director follows the copy rules when it writes into the template, and the visual review checks every creative against the visual rules.
Copy rules
- The anniversary and every milestone come from the post — never invent dates or milestones.
- Milestones read oldest first, each a few concrete words.
Visual rules
- A round log cross-section: a deep brand-colour bark ring, pale brand-tinted wood with fine irregular growth rings, a heavier ring per milestone with a dark numbered pin on it, and a small crack from the core.
- A numbered list of milestones (mono dates, heading-face titles) under a heavy rule beside or below the log; logo and kicker at the top, button and website at the foot.
